Golden Bear Bingo FAQs
Q: What is included with my ticket?
A: Your ticket includes entry for one person to play 10 games of bingo. You will receive a marker and a book of bingo cards with 3 cards per person per game.
Q: What time is bingo going to be played?
A: Cafeteria doors open at 5 p.m. and bingo starts promptly at 6 p.m. Come early to reserve your seats, check out the raffles and silent auction items, and get something to eat at concessions (for sale inside the cafeteria). We will take a break after the first 5 games for you to purchase additional food, check on your silent auction bids, or purchase additional raffle tickets for the items that haven't been called yet. Keep in mind that you must be present to win raffle items.
Q: Is this event for students or parents?
A: This event is open to everyone!
Q: Is there an incentive for students to attend?
A: Yes, Hammond High School students show their student ID (or Canvas app on your phone) when they enter to receive 5 free raffle tickets
Q: Can high school students attend without their parents?
A: Yes!
Q: What food is available to purchase during Golden Bear Bingo?
A: Whole pizzas can be purchased in advance. We will also have pizza sold by the slice at bingo night while it lasts. We will have other concessions options, including drinks, chips, candy, and a bake sale during bingo night as well.
Q: Can extra raffle tickets be purchased during bingo night?
A: Yes, raffle tickets can be purchased during the event at the same price as the presale. Get your tickets ahead to get a quicker start when you arrive!
Q: What is the purpose of this fundraiser?
A: The Hammond High School Boosters provides monetary support for Hammond's extracurricular activities, clubs, teams, drama, music and dance groups. In order to fund these school programs, the Boosters hold special events like this where 100% of the profit goes back to the school.
